Meet Gwen

Gwen O'Regan is a CORU-registered Senior Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of experience working in older adult mental health services, both in community and inpatient settings. Her work has focused on supporting individuals over 65 living with complex mental health conditions, cognitive changes, and behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia.

Throughout her career, Gwen has collaborated closely with multidisciplinary teams, valuing clear communication, coordinated care, and practical support. She understands the pressures faced by families and professionals when needs become complex — and the importance of realistic, structured, and compassionate interventions.

Gwen's approach combines clinical expertise with a deep respect for each person's history, identity, and environment. She believes meaningful change happens not through quick fixes, but through thoughtful assessment, partnership, and achievable goal-setting.

Through virtual services, Gwen continues to provide accessible, person-centred occupational therapy while exploring innovative ways to improve service delivery, coordination, and client outcomes.

"Every person has strengths worth noticing, and meaningful change happens when support meets real life — not the other way around."
